We invite you to a musical tribute to be held in three cities to celebrate the 50th ordinations of Rev. Dr. Yvonne V. Delk and Rev. Dr. Henry Simmons. This multi-city event will also be our last opportunity of 2024 to raise funds for Franklinton Center at Bricks so we can continue the ongoing work for justice, equality, and liberation.
November 9-10, 2024: First Congregational Church, Atlanta, GA.
Saturday, November 9th: Musical Tribute- 7 – 8:30 PM
Sunday, November 10th: Worship Service-11 AM (sermon by Rev. Henry Simmons
November 15, 2024: Franklinton Center at Bricks, Whitakers, NC.
Musical Tribute– 6 – 7:30 PM.
November 17, 2024: New Macedonia Christian United Church of Christ, Norfolk, VA.
Worship Service – 11 AM (sermon by Rev. Traci Blackmon)
Musical Tribute– 3 – 4:30 PM
To commemorate this special event, we are creating a booklet to showcase the impact Franklinton Center has made throughout its history and the roles Mother Yvonne V. Delk and Rev. Dr. Henry Simmons have played as active board members. This is also an opportunity for you to memorialize your place in history as a supporter of Franklinton Center.
